The 2026 King Kamehameha I Lei Draping Ceremony took place on June 7.  Mahalo Nui Loa to speakers Senator Maize Hirono, Congresswoman Jill Tokuda, Oʻahu Trustee Kalei Akaka; music by the Aloha Boys; Hula from E Ala E Hawaiian Cultural Center, Hālau Ho‘omau I ka Wai Ola O Hawai‘I and dancers from the Washington Area community; Kamehameha Scholls Alumni singers; MCs Shani Butts and Art Dias; the Architect of the Capitol and AOC staff; members of the Capitol Police; and all the volunteers and attendees.
